Job Description
The NEO FAA Financial Responsibilities
- Prepares periodic financial reports for the NEO
- Responsible on the final financial reporting of the NEO
- Helps in drafting staff contracts
- Tracking bank stakeholders
- Sub contract NEO’s stakeholders
- responsible for the day-to-day expenditures, preparing payment vouchers, checks and transfers of money to partner accounts;
- Provide technical assistance to NEO local partners on accounting, budgeting, banking, filing, financial reporting and transparency issues;
- Develop work plans, financial planning for --- and prepares reports;
- Prepare project budget vs. actual reports on a regular monthly basis;
- Conducts annual closing of the accounting year;
- Monitor the NEO budget and expenditures;
- Assist Erasmus+ project coordinators in ensuring compliance with --- procurements and accounting policies and procedures, compliance with donor agreement and audit requirements;
- Manages and control cash (cash and bank account, bank reconciliations) ;
- Enables the integration of national and expatriate staff (briefing, administrative folder,...);
- Maintains personnel files, payroll data ,and timesheet and benefit administration ,for national staff;
- Updates the HR procedures and administrative in accordance with local law and procedures of EACEA and ensures compliance with;
- Manages part of the costs incurred by the HEREs' participation in external events (travel costs, daily allowances) and the costs related to local initiatives involving the HEREs.

- Responsible for tracking taxi assignments and car rentals
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and the DD
Other Tasks:
- Petty cash custodian, disburse petty cash according to NEO policy
- Prepare weekly petty cash reconciliation
- Monitor office supplies and stationary
- Responsible for tracking taxi assignments and car rentals
- Prepare purchase and payment requests for the office supplies (kitchen, stationary, water..)
- Collect all necessary documents and information from individuals and entities to be vetted and ensure that they are complete, accurate, and submitted to the project on a timely basis
- Follow up with vendors and in coordination with procurement on all purchase requests and receive the needed invoices
- Responsible for preparing goods delivery notes/ reports
- Develop and maintain office filing systems
- Manage logistics support for the office
- Assist the staff in organizing events and workshops
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director and the Deputy
- Coordinate work with the secretary
Requirements:
- A university degree in accounting or finance.
- Three years’ experience (at least) in managing the financial management at international institutions familiar with managing the finance and the procurement system and guidelines of the EU.
- Proficiency English (written and spoken).
- Interpersonal skills and good communication skills.
- Report writing skills.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet
