The Danish House in Palestine is looking for a program coordinator for our office in Ramallah. We are looking for a person who is dependable, responsible and flexible and who would like to work in a small office with big ambitions. Age, experience and other skills may vary, but he or she would be carrying out the following tasks:

 

DHIP projects and programs

  • Be responsible for DHIP’s volunteers and volunteer programs with the assistance of DHIP’s project intern
  • Participate in all components of project development and management in line with DHIP’s overall strategy with DHIP’s director as well as local communication efforts and initiatives.
  • Draft concept notes and fundraising proposals; implementation plans; manage process components and project logistics; reporting and evaluation
  • Coordinate with other DHIP staff to prepare for successful implementation of DHIP projects and programs
  • Develop local media strategies for DHIP projects, programs and activities

 

DHIP fundraising

  • Assist in fundraising for administration and projects
  • General follow-up and nurturing of sponsor relations with focus on Palestinian funding

 

DHIP communications:

  • Participate in DHIP’sstrategic communications planning for CoM/pOsiTions, programs, projects and other DHIP activities with DHIP’s communication intern and DHIP’s director
  • Create activity-related contents and articles/coverage for use in newsletter, website, etc.

Other:

  • Take part in selected DHIP events and activities outside of normal working hours
