As part of its continuous efforts to improve students’ competence and expand their opportunities, An-Najah’s Career Unit has recently concluded two English Proficiency Workshops, for intermediate-level speakers.

The workshops aimed at providing the students with a number of important skills such as public speaking and writing effective CVs and cover letters. The participating students also received training on participating in job interviews and making professional phone calls.

Another aspect of the workshop focused on professional terminology, problem solving and decision-making.

Mr. Jonathan Wright, the workshop trainer, commended the students’ skill and enthusiasm. He stressed the importance of learning the aforementioned skills, especially for graduates in search of better employment opportunities.

Notes:

-     At the end of the workshops, all the students received certificates for their participation.
