On Wednesday, November 30th, 2016, the Alumni Unit in cooperation with the Accounting Department at An-Najah invited Mr. Ammar Aker, Executive Director of PalTel Group and member of An-Najah’s Board of Trustees for an interactive meeting with the university students titled: “Experience and Success Story”.
The event took place at the Zafer Al-Masri Auditorium in the Old Campus and was attended by a number of An-Najah academic and administrative staff and students from different faculties and departments.
Professor Maher Natsheh, Acting President of An-Najah first received Mr. Aker and the accompanied delegation which included a number of directors from PalTel Group.
Prof. Natsheh talked about An-Najah’s recent academic achievements and commended the PalTel Group role in supporting the university and higher education in Palestine.
In turn, Mr. Aker thanked the university administration and stressed the importance of collaboration between An-Najah and PalTel.
In the interactive meeting, he discussed his experience with the students pointing out that any success story encounters several difficulties and they can be overcome by persistence and team work.
He then discussed PalTel's history and national achievements with the audience.
At the end, Mr. Aker answered students’ questions on the subject.

PalTel is the largest private-sector company in Palestine which was established 1995. It was founded by Mr. Mohammad Mustafa, who is the current PalTel CEO.
