The Career Unit at An-Najah National University held a workshop for students and graduates entitled “Introduction to Mostaql Platform for Freelancing” that provides opportunities for freelancing. The students and graduates were trained on how to use the platform for searching on part-time job opportunities and they were able to recognize the main features of the platform. Moreover, they were trained on how to create their own account on “Mostaql” next to the Portfolio that enables them to add their pervious works as a proof of their experience in their specialization.
The team of the Career Unit presented to the participants how to write a job proposal and its different techniques for the business owners. This will lead to attract the attention of the business owners and to choose the freelancers to accomplish the tasks. This would help them to obtain an opportunity for a part-time job for companies that seek graduates with excellent and defined competencies.
The participants were exposed to the role of “Mostaql” of linking the business owners with the best professional freelancers to accomplish the projects to the fullest and how the platform preserve the rights of the project owner and the freelancer, as it is the mediator between the two parties until the work is delivered in full.
This workshop was done and prepared with the support of Reach Project-The European Union at the Freelancing Laboratory that was recently granted for the Career Unit.
