The Career Unit at An-Najah National University held a training workshop entitled “Introduction to Khamsat Platform for Freelancing”, where the participants were trained on how to sign up on the platform, how to apply for the job opportunities, and how to obtain the revenue from working on the platform. In addition, the frequently asked questions that would face the new members of this platform were reviewed, including the ways of the financial rights guarantee for the freelancers.
It is worth mentioning that “Khamsat” is one of the most popular Arabic freelancing platforms, which is considered as the first Arabic market to buy and sell the small services. “Khamsat” links the Arab freelancers that are ready to afford their services with the buyers that are also ready to buy these services. This leads to provide an excellent income to the freelancers and perfect services to the individual buyers or startup companies.
This workshop was done and prepared with the support of Reach Project-The European Union at the Freelancing Laboratory that was recently granted for the Career Unit.
