The Career Unit organized a training workshop on ways to take advantage of temporary jobs available on freelancing platforms, and permanent job opportunities available on remote work platforms, in the field of translation of all kinds, as the mentioned platforms provide many opportunities for those interested in translation remotely.
The participants were introduced to "Upwork", "Mostaql", "Freelancer", "Shoghl Online", and other platforms that provide a specialized translation area. By such platforms, the interested freelancers can communicate with business owners, submit a job proposal on the project posted on the platform, get a job opportunity, and receive the appropriate revenue.
It is noteworthy that the Freelancing Laboratory in the Career Unit, supported by the Reach Project - the European Union, offers weekly workshops to popularize the culture of work from home for graduates and students.
Additionally, participants will be able to develop their awareness of these fields available to them as long as they possess a specific skill in a field, bearing in mind that the available fields are diverse and numerous.
This workshop was done and prepared with the support of Reach Project-The European Union at the Freelancing Laboratory that was recently granted for the Career Unit.
